Brazilian dilemma: Too many good players
Brazilian coach Carlos Alberto Parreira talked to the press to mention that he has 40 players to choose from when making his 23-man squad for next year's World Cup in Germany.
"It will be really difficult" Parreira told the TV. "Some coaches have difficulties to find 23 good players. However, I have 3 500 players to select, and unfortunately some of them will have to be left out." Parreira said Brazil always has enough talented players, but his biggest challenge is to achieve balance.
"The most relevant thing is to have a balanced group," Parreira noticed. "We must be prepared for injuries and suspensions during the Cup."
The inclusion of Ronaldinho Gaucho, Kaka, Cafu, Robinho, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo is guaranteed, but Parreira stressed that there are several spots still available.
